This embosser has a reach of about 4-1/2" from the edge of the page to the center of the design. It can be used to make an impression anywhere on a standard 8-1/2" x 11" sheet.

You must choose a die position when ordering, the orientation of the seal cannot be changed once it is manufactured. Additional inserts in different orientations are available both at time of purchase and at a later date. An embosser set for "Top" position makes an upright impression when used at the top of a page, "Bottom" position makes an upright impression at the bottom of the page, "Left" and "Right" positions make upright impressions when used on the left and right side of the page respectively. Bottom position is used for return addresses on envelope flaps or seals at the bottom on certificates. Top position can be used for monograms at the top of stationery or seals at the top of certificates.

All of the embossers we sell are designed for use with up to 24lb papers or light napkin plys. Use on paper of heavier weights is NOT recommended. Use on a heavier weight paper may result in an unclear impression or damage to the embosser. Excessive stress will bend the handle or misalign the insert.
